In Celebration of Its 63rd Dies Natalis, Unram’s Academic Community Showcases Creativity and Sportsmanship through Creative Aerobics and Karaoke Competitions

Mataram, University of Mataram — The festive spirit of the 63rd Dies Natalis of the University of Mataram (Unram) came alive through the Creative Aerobics and Karaoke competitions held on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Taking place in the Senate Conference Room, the event was met with great enthusiasm from the academic community, who actively participated in celebrating Unram’s Dies Natalis.
The celebration featured eight teams representing various faculties, each delivering dynamic and well-coordinated performances that combined energetic movements with creative and vibrant costumes, a true reflection of the innovation and camaraderie within Unram’s academic community.
Following the judges’ assessment, the Faculty of Animal Science earned first place, while the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences secured second place, and the Rectorate Team came in third. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Economics and Business, and Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) received the first, second, and third runner-up titles, respectively.
The Classic Song Karaoke Competition added a warm and nostalgic touch to the celebration. A total of 14 participants took the stage with their best performances, singing timeless classics that successfully brought the audience and judges down memory lane.
Similar to the creative aerobics contest, this category also recognized six winners. Yuniar Nuri Nazir (FKIP) claimed first place, followed by Intan Febrianti (Rectorate–MBKM) in second, and Dr. Siti Fatimah (FEB) in third. Meanwhile, Madam Husnia (Rectorate), Kasnawi Al Hadi (FMIPA), and Fridayanteni Suaini (Faperta) earned the first, second, and third runner-up titles, respectively.
Embodying the spirit of togetherness in the 63rd Dies Natalis celebration, Unram remains committed to presenting festivities that are not only lively and engaging but also uphold sportsmanship and foster a strong sense of unity within Unram’s academic community.
