The activity began with remarks from the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV, Henriette Minerva Wenno. “Congratulations to Unram for opening two study programmes, namely the Doctor of Management and Entrepreneurship programme and the Doctor of Education programme, which I am sure is not only awaited by Unram itself but also by private universities (PTS) in the Mataram City area. The results of the evaluation will be outlined in the minutes that will be signed together to decide whether the opening of this study programme is given permission or not,” she said.
Pande Putu Suryadinata, S.Si., M.Par. as the Human Resources Analyst (HR) for Young Expert Apparatus of LLDIKTI Region VIII, in his remarks also added regarding the results of the evaluation carried out so that later it could produce a realistic programme.
“Hopefully the results of this evaluation can realise a realistic doctoral study programme,” he explained.
Furthermore, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. revealed that the main purpose of establishing this doctoral study programme is as a form of fulfilling educational services.
“Of course, the main purpose of establishing these two study programmes is to provide educational services. These two study programmes were proposed because the needs at Unram are tremendous. In addition, there is a demand from PTS so that lecturers at PTS do not need to go far to school. Therefore, we hope that you will give us your prayers, guidance and direction. We will take note and we will make improvements. Hopefully Unram will be more advanced and victorious,” he said.
The visitation was then continued with evaluations at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP).
