Internationalization of Education Curriculum: Unram Holds Workshop on Writing an International Textbook
Mataram, University of Mataram – UP Internationalization of Universitas Mataram (Unram) held a Workshop on Writing Course Modules and International Classes entitled “Writing a Course Book Nurturing Change Makers” on Wednesday (22/5) at the Senate Conference Room, Unram Rectorate.
Ahmad Junaidi, Ph.D. as the Head of the Internationalization Team of Unram in his speech emphasized the principle of internationalization of Unram is to provide international standard education to local students.
“Let us embody that internationalization is not only because we want to invite foreign students to our university but because we want to provide international standard education for local students,” he concluded.
Furthermore, the Head of the Unram Internationalization Team explained that the arrival of foreign students is a consequence of the quality possessed by Unram.
This workshop is the second workshop held with the target of creating textbooks. Junaidi explained that textbooks sound traditional because students are less likely to read textbooks, but textbooks can also be something that can evolve with the development of the times.
“The textbook can include links, Artificial Intelligence (AI), QR Code. This kind of textbook is what we are going to create,” he concluded.
This workshop presented Prof. Kamaluddin Yusra, M.A., Ph.D. as a speaker with the material title “International Class Module Format”.
