Kemendikbudristek Fully Supports Acceleration of Curriculum Development and Higher Education Learning for Study Programmes at Unram

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Aquaculture Study Programme (Prodi), Faculty of Agriculture, University of Mataram (Unram) managed to get full support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to accelerate the development of higher education curriculum and learning. This support was obtained as a follow-up to the workshop on aligning Semester Learning Plans (RPS) and Student Task Plans (RTM) which was held on 10 January 2024.

The workshop was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Bambang Budi Santoso. On this occasion, he advised that the curriculum run by study programmes in Unram, especially the Aquaculture Study Programme, must be able to support students so that they will have sufficient provisions to face the world of work.

After the workshop took place, the Head of the Aquaculture Study Program, Dr. Zainal Abidin initiated follow-up activities by participating in the Higher Education Curriculum and Learning Development Acceleration Assistance Program to Support Independent Independence Campus in 2024.

“The workshop that we held yesterday must be followed up so that the results are maximised. Let’s continue at a higher level, namely the national level,” said Dr. Zainal.

Based on this initiative, the Kemendikbudristek through letter number 3527/E2/DT.00.00/2024 issued on 23 May 2024, gave full support to the Aquaculture Study Program. This Aquaculture Study Program is the only study program in Unram that has the opportunity to hold Accelerated Higher Education Curriculum Development and Learning activities to Support Independent Independent Campus.
