Mataram, the University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) held the Kick-Off of the Nusantara Module for the Independent Student Exchange Program (PMM) Batch 3 Inbound at the University of Mataram on Saturday (7/10) at the Unram Dome Building.

This activity was attended by the Unram Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Unram PMM PIC Coordinator, Nusantara Module Lecturers, and 212 PMM students from 104 universities spread across Indonesia.

The PMM Unram PIC Coordinator, Aurelius Rofinus Lolong Teluma, S.S., M.A in his report said that the 212 PMM Batch 3 students were selected from more than 4000 students who chose Unram as their destination campus.

“This Kick-Off is the opening for the Nusantara Module which includes 4 indicators, namely Diversity, Inspiration, Reflection and Social Contribution. “We will carry out all these activities until early December,” said Aurel.

Besides that, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Sc. or who is usually called Nana, the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Unram, hopes that PMM students can study the cultural diversity that exists in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), specifically in Lombok.

“In the midst of current technological developments and advances, there is one thing that must not be lost, namely diversity. The young students must understand and appreciate the diversity that exists in Indonesia, especially in NTB. “Because this is one of our riches as a nation,” said Nana.

He hopes that PMM students can use their time to explore and enrich their insights regarding West Nusa Tenggara culture while studying at Unram.

The event also welcomed 212 PMM students and symbolically opened the Nusantara Module Kick-Off with the beating of the gong by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and the PMM Unram PIC Coordinator.
