LSP Unram Awards Competency Certificates to 219 Assessees from 11 Schemes

Mataram, University of Mataram — The Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of the University of Mataram (Unram) held a Competency Certificate Awarding Ceremony for assessees who were declared competent based on the certification assessment. The certificates were symbolically presented by the Vice Rector I, the Secretary of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP), and the Secretary of LSP Unram at the Unram Dome on December 19, 2025.
In her remarks, Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, emphasized that competency certification is a strategic step in enhancing graduates’ competitiveness in the job market. “This competency certificate serves as formal recognition of the skills of students and professionals who have met national standards. Going forward, LSP is expected to expand and develop more certification schemes to accommodate all study programs at the University of Mataram,” she stated.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of LPMPP, Dr. Edy Herianto, M.Ed., affirmed that the certification activity aligns with the university’s commitment to ensuring graduate quality. According to him, integrating the learning process with competency certification will strengthen the relevance of higher education to industry and societal needs.
The Secretary of LSP, Abdul Natsir, S.T., M.T., explained that the certification process undertaken by the assessees adhered to the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) and was conducted objectively, transparently, and accountably. “We hope that LSP can continue to be developed through the addition of new schemes and assessor competency certification training,” he said.
The certificate awarding ceremony was attended by 219 assessees from 11 certification schemes and forms part of Unram’s ongoing efforts to support the link and match program between higher education and the world of work.
Through this activity, LSP Unram reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving the quality of competent, competitive human resources who are ready to face global challenges.
