Office of Internasioanal Affairs Mataram University Held Sharing Season in Order to Support Study Programs and to Strengthen International Cooperation

Mataram, Mataram University – The Office of International Affairs of the Mataram University held a Sharing Session entittle “Strengthening International Cooperation of Study Programs in the University of Mataram” on Thursday (15/6) at the Grand Legi Hotel.

Prof. Ir. Dahlanuddin, M.Rur.Sc., Ph.D as the Chairman of OIA Mataram University conveyed that this activity is important to be held because the responsibility of international cooperation is not only the responsibility of the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems, but a joint responsibility including all study programs within Mataram University.

“Today our focus is on how to strengthen study programs to be able independently facilitated by WR 4 and OIA to collaborate with various institutions,” said Prof. Dahlan.

In line with what was conveyed by the Chairman of OIA, Prof. Akmaluddin, S.T., M.Sc. (Eng.), Ph.D., Vice Rector 4 also wants the number of study programs can increase their international cooperation program.

“Hopefully through today’s sharing session will bring up new ideas and new strategies. So that not only some study programs can carry out international cooperation, but all study programs in Mataram University. So that Mataram University’s vision can also be achieved,” he hoped.

The sharing session was filled with several materials, including related to the main tasks and functions of OIA in international cooperation by the Chairman of OIA; International Credit Transfer Program (ICTP) by Dr. Santi Farmasari, M.Ed.TESOL (Head of English Language Education Study Program); Internationalization Programs to Achieve MBKM by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sood, SH., MH. (Head of International Relations Study Program); and Faculty of Medicine Mataram University Cooperation Unit by dr. Dewi Suryani, M.Infect.Diss (Head of the Faculty of Medicine Cooperation Group).
