PG-PAUD FKIP Unram Held MBKM Curriculum Reconstruction Workshop
Mataram, Universitas Mataram – The Early Childhood Education (PG-PAUD) Teacher Education study program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) held a Workshop on Curriculum Reconstruction Based on Independent Learning, Independent Campus (MBKM) on Wednesday, October 12 2022 at the Lombok Plaza Hotel, Cakranegara.
Representing the Dean of FKIP Unram, Dr. Gunawan, M.Pd. as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs gave a speech as well as officially opened the workshop event. He said that the agenda implemented was a continuation of the activities that had been carried out before.
“Today’s activity is a continuation of several activities that have been carried out several sessions intensely by some of our lecturers. Guided by our seniors and also curriculum experts,” he explained.
Dr. Gunawan also conveyed several things related to the obligations of each study program in restructuring the curriculum specifically related to the application of MBKM at Mataram University.
“So we left some things, to think about together. In some of the hung schools where we conducted the MKBM grantee money, courses of a general nature were not installed in the initial semester. So that later our students from PG-PAUD can intern at partner schools and not bother too much in finding courses that will be converted later,” said the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.
It is said that related to the new MBKM policy, students are given the authority not to take part in the Introduction to School Field (PLP), this is replaced by internships carried out by students for 1 semester. “Not going to college, studying at an internship. At least 20 credits of the course,” said Dr. Gunawan.
This activity is carried out by the PG-PAUD Unram study program to ensure that the curriculum designed can help accelerate the student’s study period.
Baiq Nilawati Astini, M.Pd. as the Head of the PG-PAUD Study Program FKIP Unram said several purposes for holding the activity.
“The goal is to evaluate the 2019 curriculum, then compile an MBKM curriculum format based on holistic integration in accordance with local wisdom.
