Promotion and Credit Score Socialization at Unram: Empowering Civil Servants Toward Excellence

Mataram, University of Mataram — In an effort to enhance career advancement and professionalism, the University of Mataram (Unram) organized a Socialization on Civil Servant Promotion and Credit Score Calculation for Functional Officials on Thursday, September 25, at the Senate Conference Room.
The event was attended by dozens of civil servants and functional officials from various units, and was held in collaboration with the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), which provided expert speakers in the field.
The Head of the Bureau of Organization and Human Resources Development at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek RI), Dr. Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H., in his remarks presented virtually via Zoom, emphasized the importance of updating data, documents, and adhering to deadlines in accordance with regulations for civil servant promotion and the determination of credit scores for functional officials.
“In terms of promotion and credit score determination, it is essential to continuously update data in the Civil Service Information System. In addition to data, the submission of documents and compliance with deadlines set by BKN must also be strictly observed,” he stated.
Drs. Paulus Dwi Laksono Harjono, M.A.P., Director of Civil Service Procurement and Transfer, also joined virtually via Zoom to provide guidance and expectations for the implementation of this socialization, aiming to support performance improvement and minimize potential obstacles.
“There are many regulations that may seem complicated, but are actually quite simple. Currently, 42 institutions have had the opportunity to implement automatic promotion, which is expected to simplify the process and expedite the issuance of decrees (SK),” he explained.
The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Dr. Sukardi, S.Pd., M.Pd., Acting Rector of the University of Mataram, who expressed his hope that this activity would help minimize errors that could potentially disadvantage civil servants and functional officials in the future.
“We sincerely hope this program provides a clear understanding of regulatory mechanisms, particularly on technical matters, as any mistakes could have significant impacts, especially for our civil servants,” he emphasized.
Several key topics were presented, including policies on civil servant promotion, credit score calculation for functional positions, data updates in SIASN, and procedures for promotion submissions through SIASN.
The implementation of this socialization and discussion reflects Unram’s commitment to enhancing professional, excellent, and competitive human resources.
