Rector of Unram Officially Inaugurates 2024 Part-Time PPPK Appointees

Mataram, University of Mataram — The University of Mataram (Unram) held the Oath-Taking Ceremony and Official Appointment of Part-Time Government Employees (PPPK) for the 2024 Recruitment Batch at the Senate Conference Room, Unram Rectorate Building, on Wednesday (November 12).
The ceremony was presided over by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., who formally inaugurated the newly appointed part-time PPPK employees and led the oath-taking procession. The event was also attended by Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., along with other university leaders.
In his remarks, the Rector expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all parties involved in the recruitment and appointment process of the PPPK employees at Unram. He emphasized the importance of being grateful for the trust bestowed upon them and of acknowledging those who have worked diligently to ensure the smooth operation of the institution.
“Let us always be grateful and honor the dedication of those who have worked tirelessly to uphold the integrity and excellence of this institution,” the Rector remarked.
Furthermore, the Rector emphasized that happiness at work is not determined by position or title, but by sincerity and dedication in carrying out responsibilities.
“Happiness does not depend on position. Work wholeheartedly, stay motivated, and never give up,” he stated.
He also encouraged all staff members to continue striving to improve their performance despite any existing limitations.
“Although our income and working conditions still need improvement, let us not use that as a reason to neglect our responsibilities. In fact, that is where the true value of our struggle lies,” he added.
Through this ceremony, Unram reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening human resource governance while continuously enhancing professionalism and the well-being of its academic community.
