Routine Monthly Ceremony, WR I: “Now is our Momentum to Achieve Better Accreditation”
Mataram, University of Mataram – A routine monthly ceremony was held on Monday (3/6) which was attended by all academicians of the University of Mataram (Unram) at the Unram Rectorate Field.
In this activity, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si delivered a mandate related to Unram’s Long Term Development Plan (RPJP) which has entered stage 4, namely Unram Internationalization.
It is known, currently Unram already has 9 superior accredited study programmes and it is hoped that Unram can encourage 7 more study programmes to get superior accreditation. On the other hand, Unram is preparing a budget to carry out competency tests and certification for lecturers at Unram. This has been welcomed by the Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry (Fatepa).
“We have implemented an energy-based competency test and certification programme. Therefore, it is expected for other faculties to immediately propose the names of lecturers to participate in this activity so that later through this activity it is expected to be able to help the government both at the regional and national levels,” she said.
Furthermore, it was explained that the UP Accreditation Unram has been formed which is expected to encourage the acceleration of Unram accreditation.
“In 2023, out of 3,817 universities, Unram has successfully entered the 25 universities included in the QS World University. With the formation of UP Accreditation, Unram has shown results. The value of World Class University shows an increase. Hopefully we are not inferior to other universities in Indonesia. It is expected that all entities in Unram can play a role in providing support. Never give up and stop fighting for the progress of Unram, now is our momentum to achieve better accreditation,” she concluded.
