Sakinah Fest NTB 2025 at Unram, Ustadz Abdul Somad Delivered Special Sermon

Mataram, University of Mataram – Sakinah Fest NTB 2025 successfully held at the M. Yusuf Abu Bakar Auditorium, University of Mataram (Unram) on Sunday, May 25, 2025. This Islamic-themed event by presenting Ustadz Abdul Somad Batubara, Lc., D.E.S.A., Ph.D. is the collaboration between Sakinah Fest with Unram Hospital and Dharma Wanita Persatuan Unram (DWP Unram).
Ustadz Abdul Somad Batubara, L.C., D.E.S.A., Ph.D. on the event delivered a special sermon entitled “Sakinah is Not Just a House, But the Way to Heaven.” attended by thousands of participants from various backgrounds filled the auditorium in a meaningful atmosphere.
Mrs. Agustin Rahmawati Bambang Hari Kusumo as Head of DWP Unram emphasized the collaboration and importance of the campus role in shaping a generation that is not only academically superior, but also morally noble.
“Unram is a state university in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) that contributes to the development of a moral intellectual generation. To achieve this, of course, collaboration from various parties is needed and one of them is through activities such as this Sakinah Fest,” she said.
Sakinah Fest NTB 2025 is also a strategic socialization platform for Unram Hospital in delivering services and the latest developments in the Unram Hospital. Through this event, the Vice Director for Services of Unram Hospital, dr. Lale Maulin Prihatina, Sp.PA, reemphasized the commitment of Unram Hospital in providing superior health services for the academic community and the entire NTB community.
On the same occasion, Mrs. Sinta Agathia Iqbal, as Head of the NTB Province Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team also expressed her high appreciation for the implementation of Sakinah Fest NTB 2025. She considered this activity very relevant and needed by the community, especially in equipping the younger generation with Islamic values and family resilience.
“I sincerely express my appreciation because this is a great work program that is very much needed in NTB, especially supported by DWP Unram,” she said.
Furthermore, Mrs. Sinta Agathia Iqbal hopes that the sermon from Ustadz Abdul Somad can be an enlightenment, especially for young unmarried generation.
“Marriage requires readiness and knowledge. So get married at the right time with the right knowledge too,” she said.
Sakinah Fest NTB 2025 not only deepens participants’ religious understanding, but also strengthens spiritual values and family resilience in line with the main message of the event that sakinah is not just a house, but a way to heaven.
