Mataram, Universitas Mataram – Universitas Mataram (Unram) organizes the Unram Student Sports Week (POM) with 5 sports including basketball, table tennis, volleyball, futsal, and badminton. The opening of this activity held on Friday, November 11, 2022.

The five sports contested are located at several points of campus, namely at the Unram Basketball Court, M. Yusuf Abubakar Unram Auditorium, Unram Volleyball Court, Unram Football Field, and Unram Badminton Building. And all faculties at Unram send student representatives for semesters 1 – 5 to participate in POM Unram.

Presented by the Chairman of the Unram POM Committee, namely H. Abdul Faruk, MM. that POM Unram is an annual activity that is always held, but has been stopped for the last 2 years due to the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic which is still peaking. He also explained that POM Unram is intended to find new seeds related to sports activities among students.

“Hopefully, we can attract Unram students who have talents in the field of sports in each of the sports we compete in,” said Unram Student Affairs Coordinator.
