Towards the 2025 Mandiri Admission Exam, Unram Ensures the Readiness of Supervisors and Location PICs

Mataram, University of Mataram – In order to fully support the implementation of the New Student Admission (PMB) for the 2025 Mandiri Pathway, Unram held Socialization and Briefing activities for the Location Person in Charge, Vice Location Person in Charge, and Supervisors. The activity which took place on Friday, June 13, 2025 at the Dome Building of the University of Mataram (Unram) aimed to provide technical direction to all exam administrators.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, in her speech said that the positive trend in the number of applicants at Unram in the last three years has increased.
“Over the past three years, the number of students entering the University of Mataram through SNBP, SNBT, and Mandiri admissions has continued to increase each year,” she said.
She also revealed that this year’s Mandiri pathway enthusiasts came from various regions in Indonesia.
“ In fact, Mandiri, if we look at the distribution, there are 119 districts listed in us for this year,” she added.
On this occasion, Prof. Nana emphasized that there was a system change towards paperless in the implementation of the Mandiri exam in 2025/2026. This is Unram’s step in reducing the use of paper and increasing the efficiency of the selection process.
“In the Independent exam there is a slight change, because we have a paperless program. For 2025/2026, the number of papers that we use in the Mandiri exam process will also be minimized,” she explained.
In this activity, the socialization participants were provided with various important information related to the technical implementation of the exam, such as the use of the supervisor application, understanding the exam implementation rundown, and the introduction of supporting devices. A total of 348 people will serve as exam supervisors.
This year, the number of applicants for the Unram Mandiri selection pathway reached 7,208 people, with the exam being held in only one batch. To support this, Unram will use 565 computers labs in various Unram environments as a place for computer-based exams.
