Unram Accepts 60+ CBSUA Philippines Students in International Credit Transfer Program

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture (CBSUA), Philippines, continue the International Credit Transfer Program for the 2025 academic year. The opening and student orientation of this program took place online through the Zoom Meeting on March 4, 2025.

This activity was opened by the Head of Unram’s Quality Assurance and Learning Development Institute (LPMPP), Dr. Ir. Sitti Latifah, M.For.Sc. In her remarks, she expressed gratitude for the continuity of the program that has strengthened academic relations between Unram and CBSUA.

“Today is a special day because we are continuing the collaboration between the University of Mataram and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture. I am proud to be part of a partnership that has strengthened the relationship between the two universities and our countries. Over the past five years, this collaboration has continued to grow and provide great benefits for students and lecturers in both institutions,” she said.

The International Credit Transfer program allows students from Unram to take online courses at CBSUA for one semester, it is the same for students from CBSUA in return. This year, the program was attended by more than 50 students from Unram and more than 60 students from CBSUA.

CBSUA students who participated in this program are spread across various study programs at Unram, including English Education, Primary School Teacher Education, Biology Education, Animal Science, Informatics Engineering, and Law. In addition, Unram students also have the opportunity to study at CBSUA in fields that are in line with their study programs.

Closing her remarks, Dr. Sitti Latifah expressed her appreciation to the lecturers and academic team who have contributed to the curriculum alignment and implementation of this program.

“We are very proud of the development of this program and hope that in the future we can develop further cooperation, such as joint degree and double degree programs. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey. Dios Mabalos, Maraming Salamat, and Thank You!”

With the continuation of this program, Unram continues to strengthen its international cooperation network, provide opportunities for students to gain global insights, and improve the quality of education across countries.
