Unram and UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta Sign MoU to Strengthen Education Quality and Digital Learning

Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) welcomed a delegation from Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Raden Mas Said Surakarta at the Senate Conference Room on Tuesday (September 16). The meeting marked an important milestone for both institutions, highlighted by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in the areas of the university’s three pillars of higher education.
The event began with opening remarks from the Chair of the Senate of Unram, Prof. Dr. H. Agil Al Idrus, M.Si., followed by a presentation on the recent developments of Unram’s Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPPMP).
Unram also highlighted several digital innovations that have already been implemented, including the Curriculum and Learning Tools System (SKPP), the Learning Management System (LMS), and an integrated system for assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes. These innovations support curriculum guidance, syllabus preparation, and transparent, measurable evaluations of student performance.
“This collaboration is expected to serve as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices, particularly in digital learning, curriculum management, and innovations to improve the quality of graduates and enhance global competitiveness,” said Prof. Agil.
The delegation from UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and Unram’s readiness to collaborate. They conveyed their hope that the MoU would open opportunities for joint research as well as the development of academic programs that align with contemporary needs.
Through the signing of this MoU, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening synergy in education, research, and community service, in line with efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the field of education.
