Unram Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs, Prof. Sukardi, Delivers Public Hearing Presentation at the Central Information Commission for the Third Time

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs of the University of Mataram (Unram), Prof. Dr. Sukardi, M.Pd., accompanied by Dr. Khairul Umam, S.H., M.H., Head of Public Relations at Unram, once again took part in the public hearing presentation held by the Central Information Commission (KIP) on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at Grand Mercure Kemayoran, Jakarta. This marks his third consecutive presentation at the national public information evaluation forum.
This public hearing is part of Unram’s ongoing efforts to improve the quality of its information services and maintain the “Informative” predicate, which the university has consistently earned since 2023. The predicate represents the highest recognition in the Public Information Disclosure Awards, given to public institutions with exemplary performance in information governance.
In his presentation, Prof. Sukardi introduced this year’s PPID Unram service concept: “Access Simply, Use it Wisely”. The tagline reflects Unram’s commitment to providing easy access to information for the public while simultaneously educating the community to use the information responsibly.
Prof. Sukardi emphasized that Unram remains firmly committed to developing transparent, accessible, and regulation-compliant information governance.
“Since receiving the ‘Informative’ predicate in 2023, we have continuously implemented innovations and strengthened our information service systems to maintain public trust. This public hearing is a crucial moment for us to demonstrate that consistency and commitment,” he stated.
He further explained that Unram has expanded its information access channels across various platforms.
“PPID Unram now has an application available on the Android Play Store. We are active on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, the Unram Official WhatsApp channel, and YouTube,” he said.
“In addition, each week we provide updated information about Unram through Unram Sepekan, a mini magazine containing weekly updates about the university, which is now also adopted at the faculty level,” he added.
He also acknowledged that Unram has strengthened its engagement with the media through Forta Unram to maintain transparency and expand the dissemination of information.
“All these efforts are built on strong commitment—starting from the leadership level to operational staff. We continue to conduct benchmarking and discussion forums to develop more capable service personnel. Solid teamwork within the institution and with partners is the key to the quality of information we deliver,” he concluded.
Through its participation in this year’s public hearing, Unram hopes to maintain its “Informative” predicate and continue to strengthen its position as an educational institution that is increasingly accountable, transparent, and responsive to the public’s information needs.
