Unram FKIP AM V Students Officially Wrap Up: Making a Lasting Impact at SDN 24 Mataram through Innovation and Teaching Spirit

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Teaching Assistance Program (AM) Batch V held by the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) officially ended at SD Negeri 24 Mataram. After more than three months of educational activities since March 2025, students from the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program were finally returned to campus on Monday (16/6/2025) in a simple but meaningful ceremony.
During AM V, the students not only carried out intracurricular activities and supervision, but also initiated various innovative programs such as waste sorting outing class, utilizing vacant land to plant TOGA, making ecobricks, to extracurricular coaching such as paskibra, tahfidz, and English classes.
They also organize workshops on the use of Microsoft PowerPoint-based teaching materials, build literacy classes, create educational magazines, and present creative learning media such as numeration trees and mathematical snakes and ladders.
The principal of SD Negeri 24 Mataram, Endiyah Sukesiningsih, S.Pd., directly expressed her appreciation for this activity.
“This AM V program is extraordinary. Students not only focus on teaching activities, but are also able to contribute directly through various innovations that are highly beneficial to the school environment. They come with enthusiasm and fresh ideas that make the learning atmosphere more lively,” he said.
On the other hand, Dr. Prayogi Dwina Angga, S.Or., M.Pd., as the field supervisor from FKIP Unram, expressed his pride for the students’ achievements.
“Our students have shown extraordinary dedication in carrying out every program that has been designed. This success certainly cannot be separated from the full support of all components of SD Negeri 24 Mataram. On behalf of the institution, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the principal, all teachers, and tutors for their guidance and cooperation,” he said.
During the ceremony, all teachers and staff of SDN 24 Mataram also gave warm impressions and messages to the students. Most of them conveyed a positive impression on student performance which was considered active, creative, and able to adapt well to the school environment.
“This is the initial start of a long journey as a prospective teacher. Keep learning and developing to be better prepared to face the challenges of the world of education in the future,” said one senior teacher who was greeted with emotion by the students.
The Teaching Assistance Program has become an important platform in preparing prospective educators who are not only academically competent, but also have social sensitivity and a high spirit of dedication. This withdrawal symbolizes the completion of one phase and the beginning of a long journey to become a real professional educator.
