Unram Holds Socialization of P2MW 2025 Program, Encourages Students to Develop Entrepreneurial Spirit

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) continues its commitment to encourage the development of student potential not only in academic aspects, but also in the field of entrepreneurship. This commitment was implemented through the socialization of the 2025 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) which was held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Unram Dome Building.
This activity was attended by students from various faculties in Unram, who enthusiastically participated in the socialization to explore business development opportunities through the P2MW program.
The event was opened by Ir. H. Abdul Faruk, M.M., as the Head of Unram’s Students Affairs Work Team, representing the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni.
In his speech, he emphasized that P2MW is a strategic program to foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and build the independent spirit of students since college.
“Students who have a business, or even just have the intention to start a business, please participate in this P2MW program. This program is a forum to support the interest and entrepreneurial potential of students, both those who are just starting and those who are already running their businesses,” he said.
Furthermore, he emphasized that Unram strongly supports programs such as P2MW as an important provision for students facing the post-campus life.
“We support students through funding. So, don’t miss it. Today we are also provided with material directly by speakers from Belmawa through online, so please pay attention and listen well to all systematic explanations, “he said.
This socialization presented two main speakers. First, Alamul Huda, S.Ip., M.Hum., from the Directorate of Belmawa who delivered material about the virtual implementation of P2MW 2025. Second, Rini Nofrida, S.TP., M.Si., as the Head of the 2025 Unram P2MW who attended directly with Drs. Alamsyah, AB., M.P., explained material about the Financial Aspects of the P2MW Program.
With full support from the university and the collaborative spirit that has been built, it is hoped that Unram students can optimally utilize this program, and be able to provide innovative ideas and businesses that have a real impact for the community.
