Unram Hospital Healthy Friday Programme, Provides Free Health Checks

Mataram, Universitas Mataram – Universitas Mataram Hospital (RS Unram) organised free health checks for the academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Unram on Friday (26/7). The activity, which took place in the FEB Unram Meeting Hall, aims to carry out the Healthy Friday Programme as directed by the Unram Rector as well as a routine Friday morning agenda by Unram Hospital management.

“This activity will be the signature programme of Unram Hospital, where Unram is the pillar, then the Hospital Management is the cross-coordination. And the Unram community as the community we serve in increasing collaboration, synergy, and activeness of the Unram community towards the progress of Unram Hospital,” said Deputy Director of General and Finance of Unram Hospital, Bambang, S.Ak, M.Ak, at the beginning of the activity representing Unram Hospital Management on this occasion.

The Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. always wants to improve all services in Unram Hospital, so that the residents of Mataram City are no longer worried about the existence of existing services with reliable specialists.

In addition, this activity aims to provide information on the existence of Unram Hospital during renovations located in the Joint Lecture Building (GKB) and promote all services in Unram Hospital to the academic community of FEB Unram, especially through social media owned by Unram, namely Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok.

On the other hand, this activity was carried out as a screening effort for the FEB Unram academic community in terms of health. Various examinations were carried out, both in the form of blood pressure measurements, accompanied by simple laboratory tests consisting of checking blood sugar, uric acid checks, and cholesterol checks.

This activity was attended by lecturers, staff and students of FEB Unram, who seemed very supportive and enthusiastic in following the course of the activity which began at 7am. This activity was also preceded by a healthy gymnastics together in the field of FEB Unram.

The committee of this activity came from the team of public relations and cooperation of Unram hospital, consisting of doctors, obstetricians, nurses, pharmacists, to the legal team of cooperation, as well as the graphic design team. The team participated in enlivening and informing various health services that had been carefully prepared beforehand through the distribution of brochures to the FEB community.

One of the FEB community members who is a lecturer of FEB Unram and a representative of the Unram Alumni Association, Dr. Iwan Harsono, S.E., M.Ec., when interviewed by the Unram Hospital Public Relations Team expressed his pride and gratitude along with high appreciation for the ‘Healthy Friday with Unram Hospital’ programme.

“Thank you to the Director and all staff of Unram Hospital, we all feel proud, this is called the real contribution of Unram Hospital for the better in the future. InsyaAllah we will help to convey information to the public, especially to more than 13,000 Unram alumni,” said Dr Iwan excitedly.

On the other hand, a student representative who could be covered by the PR Team, Rama Aditya Yunandha, who is the Chairperson of the Undergraduate Accounting Student Association said that, “Unram Hospital has various facilities with various service facilities accompanied by discounts or large discounts for Unram students. Hopefully in the future Unram Hospital will be able to improve its services even better with new breakthroughs and be able to cover health services for thousands of Unram students in various faculties, not only at Unram but throughout the NTB community,” he hoped.

At the end of the session, Dr. H. M Irwan, M.P. as a lecturer of FEB Unram also expressed his gratitude for this activity. “We are patients who routinely seek treatment at Unram Hospital, InsyaAllah Unram Hospital will be more advanced with its programmes, and we will inform all relatives both within Unram and in our community association.” he said, ending the interview session as well as marking the end of the activity.
