Unram Hosts Forum Meeting of Business Management Agency (BPU) & Business Development Agency (BPB) of State Universities throughout Indonesia
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Business Management Agency (BPU) of University of Mataram (Unram) held a forum meeting for Business Management Agencies and Business Development Agencies of Universities throughout Indonesia in 2023 with the theme “Better Business for Greater Changing”, located at Jayakarta Hotel on Thursday (23/11).
This activity was opened by the Rector of the University of Mataram represented by the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. Sukardi, S.Pd., M.Pd., and also attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Systems, Prof. Akmaluddin, S.T., M.Sc. (Eng), Ph.D., Chairperson of the Unram BPU, Dr. Syamsuhaidi, Chairperson of the BPU of State Universities throughout Indonesia, Drs. Agus Syarif, M.B.S., and invited guests attended by 21 State Universities throughout Indonesia.
Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Dr. Sukardi explained that currently Unram has 34,000 students; 72 study programs; 9 faculties consisting of S1, S2, and S3, 1,354 lecturers, and 94 professors.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Sukardi said that this BPU forum is a place to develop Entrepreneur University, because if we have developed Entrepreneur University then we are only building an Entrepreneur environment in which there will be many students who learn about business, so as to be able to produce competitive graduates who will become job creators for the surrounding community.
Prof. Dr. Sukardi hopes that this forum activity can provide an opportunity to share experiences and create creative ideas in the progress of State Universities in Indonesia.
“We think this is a good opportunity for us to meet, for us to share and hopefully this meeting will be a blessing and produce a creative thought of course”, he said.
The chairman of the Unram BPU forum committee, Dr. Syamsuhaidi, welcomed and thanked all participants from 21 State Universities throughout Indonesia who had attended at this time, in this case 42 people had arrived; 8 people had landed in Lombok last night; 8 other people will arrive tomorrow morning.
Dr. Syamsuhaidi said this activity was held on November 23-25, 2023. On November 24, participants will attend the Sharing Season event. On November 25, participants will attend a Business Matching event and close with a gala dinner and intimacy night.
The Chairperson of the BPU Forum of Universities throughout Indonesia, Drs. Agus Syarif, delivered his speech hoping that this forum meeting could bring benefits and hopefully this year’s BPU will be more developed and there are provisions regarding management, establishment and formal legality.
“We are gathered here in the context of sharing sessions for several studies, how do we optimize not only tangible assets, but also intangible assets and actually the potential that is still not raised is how to optimize intangible assets about the treasury”, he concluded.
