Unram Impact Expo 2025 Successfully Showcases Innovation and Community Impact at Lombok Epicentrum Mall

Mataram, University of Mataram — University of Mataram (Unram) successfully held the Unram Impact Expo 2025, a major exhibition that brought together innovations from lecturers and students, research outputs, cross-faculty collaborations, and various flagship university programs. The event took place on Saturday (29/11) at Lombok Epicentrum Mall and served as a platform that directly showcased Unram’s contributions to the wider community.
The event was officially opened by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., marking the start of the expo series in front of the academic community and the general public. The expo featured a wide range of programs, including faculty booths, talk shows with academics and industry practitioners, research exhibitions, entertainment segments, and interactive games with door prizes. Visitors were able to explore innovative works firsthand innovations designed to address public needs and societal challenges.
Unram’s Rector emphasized that this event represents an important step in strengthening the university’s connection with the community.
“Unram aims not only to showcase its works within the campus, but also to bring them closer to the public. A lots of our innovations are simple yet highly needed in the field, from high-calcium crab-shell–based food products to various student research outputs. Event like this should become a regular agenda so that the community can directly witness the real-world impact of Unram’s academic innovations,” he stated.
The Head of LPPM Unram, Dr. Andi Chairil Ichsan, S.Hut., M.Si., also underscored the importance of downstreaming and expanding collaborations in advancing innovation.
“Many innovations at Unram have strong potential to be developed toward industrialization and downstream implementation, both at the faculty level and across technical units. Through this expo, we are collaborating with several strategic partners including ITDC, Varindo, Gekrafs, AAS, and Gridwiz to broaden the reach of these innovations. We extend our appreciation to the organizing committee for their hard work, and we hope this event further connects Unram with the community while creating broader positive impact,” he said.
The Unram Impact Expo 2025 is expected to become an annual event that continues to grow, strengthens the university’s engagement with the community, and facilitates the emergence of innovations that contribute to regional and national development.
