Unram LSP Holds RCC Program for Assessors as a Collective Effort to Ensure Competency Standards Remain Consistent

Mataram, University of Mataram – On Friday, 21 November 2025, the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) of Mataram officially launched the Recognition of Current Competency (RCC) program for competency assessors within University of Mataram (Unram). Held at the Lombok Raya Hotel, this event served as an important forum for assessors to reaffirm their commitment to maintaining the quality of assessments and certification services.
The opening session took place in a solemn yet enthusiastic atmosphere. The RCC program serves as a re-evaluation process for certified assessors to ensure that their skills, knowledge, and application of assessment standards remain aligned with the guidelines of the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).
In his remarks, the Secretary of LPMPP, Dr. Edy Herianto, M.Ed., emphasized the significance of the RCC in safeguarding the quality and credibility of certification services.
“Assessors are the frontline in upholding the quality of competency certification. Through the RCC, we ensure that every assessor maintains up-to-date competencies in accordance with national standards and industry needs,” he stated.
The program was attended by assessors representing various certification schemes under Unram’s LSP. Participants will undergo a series of evaluation processes, evidence verification, and updates on the latest policies related to assessment implementation. Moreover, the RCC program acts as a platform to strengthen assessors’ professionalism in responding to evolving challenges in the workforce landscape.
