Unram Organises the Management of BAPOMI and BPSMI NTB 2025-2030, Followed by Higher Education Leaders Throughout NTB

Mataram, University of Mataram – On Thursday, 6 February 2025, University of Mataram (Unram) held an event to arrange the management of the Indonesian Student Sports Advisory Board (BAPOMI) and the Indonesian Student Arts Advisory Board (BPSMI) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) for the period 2025-2030. The event, which was held at Unram, was also attended by Vice Rectors for Student and Alumni Affairs from all universities in NTB.

This activity aims to form a management that can encourage the progress of the two organisations, which have a vital role in the development of sports and student organisations at the provincial level. In addition, this arrangement also aims to strengthen the commitment of students in improving the quality of human resources (HR) in NTB, especially in the field of sports.

The event was opened by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs of Unram, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T. who emphasised the importance of forming new BAPOMI and BPSMI administrators who will lead for the next five years. Dr. Sujita also invited all parties present to collaborate to realise the vision and mission of the two organisations, which focus on improving the quality of student sports.

This drafting activity highlights the strategic role of the board in an effort to improve the quality of students, not only in the academic field, but also in the world of sports. In addition to the Vice Rector of Unram, this activity was also attended by Vice Rectors from other universities in NTB, Deputy Directors of Student Affairs in NTB, Deputy Chairmen of Student Affairs in NTB, Head of Academic and Student Affairs Bureau of Unram, as well as a number of administrators and heads of student institutions who participated in the discussion of the programme.

Several attendees provided input regarding the development of various programmes that could strengthen synergies between universities in NTB, with the aim of creating a better atmosphere for students in the field of sports.

The event closed with the hope that the new management can bring positive changes to the world of student affairs and sports students in NTB. Hopefully, with a solid management, these two organisations will grow and make a real contribution to the progress of students in NTB.

The National Student Sport Week (POMNAS) this year will be held in Semarang, Central Java. Each university is preparing its best athletes to face the upcoming POMNAS.
