Unram P2MW 2025 Workshop: Cultivating Strong and Sustainable Student Business Brands

Mataram, University of Mataram – Strengthening business branding and sustainability was the central focus of the 2025 Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) Workshop at the University of Mataram (Unram), held on Friday (29/8) at the Unram Guest House. The workshop served as a strategic platform for students to enhance their business branding while instilling sustainable practices in the ventures they develop.
The workshop was attended by four student groups, totaling 14 participants, who successfully passed the funding stage of the 2025 P2MW program. Through intensive mentoring, the students were guided to develop strong and competitive business branding, with a focus on sustainability across all aspects from selecting raw materials, production processes, and packaging, to marketing strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, expressed his appreciation for the increased number of students participating in the program. According to him, P2MW provides significant added value, particularly in cultivating entrepreneurial character that is honest, innovative, and future-oriented.
“Students participating in P2MW have an advantage over others, particularly in terms of communication, collaboration, and entrepreneurship. Through this program, we hope that students are not only capable of running a business but also of creating strong and sustainable business branding,” he said.
The workshop featured Anisa Prina Wulandari from PT Organic as the resource speaker, presenting on “Enhancing Business Branding: Unlock Opportunities and Expand Your Customer Base”, moderated by Sholihati Lathifa Sakina, S.Si., M.T. The session emphasized that branding is not merely about visual identity, but also about how sustainability values are reflected in every aspect of a business, thereby attracting more customers.
Through this activity, students gained not only entrepreneurial theory but also practical strategies for building a business image that is valuable, recognizable, and trusted. It is expected that the 2025 P2MW program at the University of Mataram will foster innovative, competitive young entrepreneurs with business branding aligned with sustainability principles.
