Unram Socializes 2025 Education Guidelines, Strengthening its Path Towards PTN-BH Status and Advancing the SDGs

Mataram, University of Mataram – The University of Mataram (Unram) held a Socialization of the 2025 Education Implementation Guidelines on Friday (8/8) in the Senate Conference Room, Rectorate Building. The event was attended by faculty leaders, heads of study programs, and all academic stakeholders to align perspectives and ensure consistent implementation of educational policies across all units.
The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Siti Hilyana, M.Si., accompanied by the Head of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) Unram, Dr. Ir. Sitti Latifah, M.Sc.F., IPU, and the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, Dwi Suswanto, S.Kom., MM.
In her remarks, Prof. Hilyana emphasized the importance of consistently applying the guidelines presented in this forum so that, in the future, there will be no questions or doubts regarding educational policies. She described the activity as a strategic step in preparing Unram to attain State University with Legal Entity (PTN-BH) status by 2026. “Whenever we become a PTN-BH, our grand document must already embody the spirit of PTN-BH,” she asserted.
Prof. Hilyana also reminded that all research plans, community service activities, and learning processes at Unram must incorporate the dimensions of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In her presentation, Prof. Hilyana outlined the scope of the guidelines, which cover all stages of educational delivery from the admission of new students at various levels and study programs, curriculum development and implementation, management of learning materials and resources, and the execution of double-degree and joint-degree programs, to accelerated study pathways, recognition of prior learning, learning processes, assessment of learning outcomes, and the provision of academic services, guidance, and supporting facilities for students, particularly those with special needs. The final stage of education includes the yudisium stage and commencement, followed by the issuance of diplomas and accompanying certificates.
Through this socialization, Unram reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that every work unit shares the same understanding in delivering education effectively, measurably, and with a quality-oriented approach, while also preparing to meet the challenges of higher education in the global era.
