Yogyakarta LPP Polytechnic Strengthened Collaboration with Unram
Mataram, Universitas Mataram – The Chancellor of the University of Mataram (Unram) Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr, St., Ph.D. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Director of the Yogyakarta Polytechnic Muhammad Mustangin, ST., M.Eng. Virtually with 10 universities, those are; Universitas Hamzanwadi, Universitas Nahdlatul Wathan, Universitas Lambung Mangkurat, Universitas 17 August 1945, Universitas Semarang, Universitas PGRI Semarang, Slamet Riyadi University, Nusantara University PGRI Kediri, IAI As’adiyah Sengkang, and Mangunwijaya Catholic Polytechnic Semarang, on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
Historically, the Yogyakarta Polytechnic was under the Yogyakarta Plantation Education Foundation, which was founded by the Yogyakarta Plantation Education Institute (LPP). However, in this case the Yogyakarta Polytechnic is ready to cooperate in other fields. “If there is service research or other forms of collaboration in the plantation sector, God willing, we are ready to collaborate for other stages of implementation,” said Yogyakarta Polytechnic Director, Mustangin.
“Hopefully this will be the starting point for our future cooperation, in relation to education, research and community service as well as agencies or institutions in the community,” said the Director of the Yogyakarta Polytechnic.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of the University of Mataram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St Ph.D. welcomed this collaboration with the Yogyakarta Polytechnic. Prof. Bambang explained that no university can develop without cooperation. For that Prof. Bambang really supported the collaboration. “We are ready to contribute to the next activity. Of course, we fully support it, and hopefully activities like this can be made into our agenda in the future,” he concluded.
The Chancellor of Unram also hoped for cooperation in other fields for the development of the West Nusa Tenggara region. “Let’s work together with other fields, for example the West Nusa Tenggara International Conference,” explained the professor of the Faculty of Agriculture.
