Mataram, the University of Mataram – The staff of the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs at the University of Mataram (Unram), Prof. Dr. Ir. I Wayan Sutresna, M.P. officially opened the 2023 Student Entrepreneurial Development Program Workshop, on Saturday (12/8) morning at Unram Guest House.

Unram has sent 13 groups of students and it was recorded that 8 groups from 4 faculties were successfully funded by Belmawa Kemendikbudristekdikti. The 4 faculties include the Faculty of Teaching and Education, the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Food Technology and Agro-industry and the Faculty of Agriculture.

In his remarks, Prof. Sutresna expressed his pride for the 13 Unram student groups. He conveyed that these students could become great entrepreneurs because successful people did not succeed immediately, but people who dared to try the process, so that, they became great entrepreneurs.

“I hope you can pay attention to the source material and some of the important points that will be conveyed. I also hope that the resource person will provide tips and tricks to students, so that, they can follow in the success of the resource person,” explained Prof. Sutresna.

“Unram has been great, it has been extraordinary. Of the 13 groups we sent, 8 groups were successfully funded. And hopefully in the future it can continue to grow,” he added.

The event lasted for 2 days, the first day (12/8) the event brought in 3 speakers namely Hj. Viviana, S.E., MBA, Director of PT. Vi Diagnostic, discussing Practical Management for New Interpreneurs. The second speaker was Indah Trisnawati as the Owner of Lombok Orchid, discussed HR Management. Furthermore, Deva Suksmana, Owner of Sasak Tulen Gemilang in the Perfume and Laundry Equipment Sector.

The second day (13/8) of the workshop was continued with 3 different speakers discussing Digital Business Strategy Development by Anas Amrullah, Founder & Director of Besiru Hub. Then Digital Marketing Management on Social Media by Baiq Sekar Pratiwi as the influencer/owner of Gemaa Creative. Finally, Titi Rahayu as the owner of Candys explained material related to Marketing at Online Stores.

The event was also attended by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs; Head of Bureau for Academic, Student Affairs and Planning; Student Affairs Coordinator; MBPIK Sub-Coordinator, and P2MW assistant lecturer.
