The University of Mataram Develops Maritime Research with FAO Indonesia and Timor Leste
Mataram, the University of Mataram – together with FAO Indonesia and FAO Timor Leste discussed the Integrated Multi Tropic Aquaculture System (IMTA) program in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Unram Rectorate on Thursday (14/9). In this discussion, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D.; Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Sc.; Muralidharan, ISLME, Regional Coordinator; representatives from FAO Indonesia and Timor Leste; the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; as well as the Chair of LPPM Unram.
This activity discussed research collaboration that had been conducted regarding developments in the maritime sector. The Rector of Unram expressed his hope that the IMTA program would continue, andin the future Unram and FAO or the Food and Agriculture Organization could continue to collaborate and sign a memorandum of understanding to strengthen relations.
