She also thanked the lecturers who had educated her for almost six years.
“Thank you for teaching us patiently and diligently during our education period, providing us education in science, character, and morals as doctors until we dive directly into the community,” she added.
Dr Syifa mentioned that the journey to becoming a doctor is not easy; everyone must have twists and turns of experience. She also hopes to continue to be responsible with the degree she has achieved and powerfully help people in need.
Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Unram, Dr Hamsu Kadriyan, Sp. Future challenges must be overcome, and whatever the challenge is, a doctor must be ready.
Furthermore, Dr. Hamsu mentioned the first challenge: patient safety-based medical services.
“Patient is number one; that must be kept in mind. The public has the right to make any complaints about any service. We must remind each other,” he said.
Dr Hamsu reminded the young doctors to equip themselves with legality, must have a doctor’s license to practice (S.I.P.), must comply with applicable professional ethics, and medical services must follow standards and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.).
