Mataram, University of Mataram – In a warm atmosphere on Saturday, December 23, 2023, Dharma Wanita Persatuan University of Mataram (DWP Unram) celebrated its 24th anniversary. This event was accompanied by the 95th Mother’s Day celebration and took place in the Unram Senate Conference Room with the theme “Empowered Women, Advanced Indonesia.”

In an effort to celebrate this special day, various interesting activities were held, including a Tumpeng Decorating Competition and a Makeup Competition. DWP Unram invites all women of the Unram academic community to join in this activity.

In addition to expressing gratitude for the 24th anniversary of Unram DWP, Chairwoman of Unram DWP Mrs. Hj Agustin Rahmawati Hari Bambang Kusumo in her speech also wished a happy Mother’s Day to all Indonesian women.

The Chairwoman of Unram DWP highlighted the essence of Mother’s Day celebrations by emphasizing the love and services of mothers in educating and raising the next generation.

” Besides being a moment to remember the services of mothers, this celebration also aims to raise the spirit of motivation of mothers to be more independent and able to empower all aspects of life,” she said.

In this activity, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Sgr.St., Ph.D was also attended to provide the same spirit and motivation.

With the spirit of “Empowered Women, Advanced Indonesia,” this celebration is not only a place for gathering but also a momentum to celebrate the extraordinary role of women, especially mothers, in building a better future for the nation.
