Dr. Tjay Tan, hopes that this collaboration is not just signing an MoU, but there is further implementation that must be carried out.

The Rector of Unram in his speech said that this year there are 4 priority programs launched by Unram, namely encouraging the achievement of IKU, accelerating accreditation towards excellence, towards PTN-BH, and towards World Class University.

Prof. Bambang gave his hope that the MoU that had previously been signed together could be followed up and could be a way to open other doors of cooperation.

“Through this hope, together with Dr. Tjay Tan, we can help build collaboration with Amphia Hospital in the Netherlands. Hopefully this two-day meeting can bring maximum results,” he said.

This activity was also held at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Unram. In his remarks, the Dean of FKIK Unram, Dr. dr. Arfi Syamsun, Sp.KF., M.Si.Med., said that it was a great hope to be able to invite representatives of the original Indonesian Diaspora who were very successful abroad with this opportunity to convey topics about health.

“We know that Eastern Indonesia is the focus of the Indonesian Diaspora, they contribute a lot to development in Indonesia in the health sector, from the statements of Dr. Tjay Tan and the Rector of Unram, many of their programs have been running in Central and Western Indonesia, while in Eastern Indonesia this is the first collaboration and we will make it happen. Perhaps in the future Eastern Indonesia will become the center of health development in Indonesia,” he said.

Dr. Arfi Syamsun felt grateful that several deans in Eastern Indonesia were moved together to collaborate with Diaspora in advancing development in the health sector in Eastern Indonesia.
