Unram Receives Study Tour from Madrasah Aliyah At-Tahzib

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) received a visit from Madrasah Aliyah At-Tahzib Kekait, West Lombok. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si., accompanied by the Head of Academic, Student Affairs, and Planning Bureau, Irpan Siswandi, S.Sos., M.Si., warmly welcomed the arrival of 63 students and teachers of MA At-Tahzib Kekait at the Auditorium dr. Yunita Sabrina, Faculty of Medicine Unram on Thursday (25/1).

Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si in her speech explained the student body in Unram to MA At-Tahzib students, where Unram has 35,000 students; 9 faculties; postgraduate; 78 study programs as well as a brief profile and excellence of each existing faculty, including various innovations that have been successfully carried out. Prof. Nana further explained Unram’s future plans, including the addition of new study programs consisting of Mining Study Program; Digital Business Study Program; Culinary Study Program; and Graphic Design Study Program.

” All of the 78 study programs in Unram are excellent, it’s important to find out where your passion lies. Faculty of Medicine Unram now has a professional study program, so there is no need to go out to continue professional studies. Now we have 5 specialist programs, including Specialist in Surgery; Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Specialist in Neurology; Specialist in Pulmonology; and Specialist in Marine Medicine, “said Prof. Nana.

Prof. Nana further explained that there are three pathways for new student admissions, including National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP); National Selection Based on Test (SNBT); and Independent Selection. The independent selection path in Unram itself consists of three paths, Regular with Achievement; Poor with Achievement; and Partnership with Achievement.

At the end of his speech, Prof. Nana said that Unram always tries to explore all the opportunities and possibilities that exist, especially things that are closely related to the community in order to answer all the challenges and opportunities that exist.
