Lecturer of FEB Unram, Nur Aida Arifah Tara Guides MSIB Students in the World of Banking
Mataram, University of Mataram – Nur Aida Arifah Tara, Ph.D., a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Mataram (FEB Unram), has been trusted as a supervisor in the Certified Independent Study (MSIB) Program at Bank BTN Mataram. This program is part of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) initiative which provides opportunities for students to gain direct work experience in the industrial world.
As the main supervisor, Nur Aida Arifah Tara, Ph.D., provides intensive guidance to students involved in the MSIB program at Bank BTN Mataram. In her role, Aida is responsible for guiding students in completing projects related to banking and finance, as well as ensuring that their experience is in line with their academic goals.
Aida, who is an experienced academic in economics and finance, expressed her enthusiasm and commitment to the program.
“I am truly happy to be able to contribute as a supervisor in the MSIB Program at Bank BTN. This program not only gives students the opportunity to apply the knowledge they have learned, but also opens their minds to real industrial practices,” said Aida when interviewed by the Unram Public Relations team on Tuesday, 27 August 2024.
In this program, students engage in various activities, including market analysis, risk management, and financial product development. With Aida’s support and guidance, students are expected to gain valuable experience and prepare themselves to enter the workforce with relevant skills.
“Bank BTN Mataram as a partner in the MSIB program is highly enthusiastic in welcoming the internship students. Bank BTN Mataram also hopes that this collaboration will provide significant benefits for the development of student competencies and improve the relationship between academia and industry,” she said.
“The MSIB program is part of Unram’s continuous efforts to expand opportunities for off-campus learning and equip students with the practical skills needed to succeed in their careers. Through this program, it is hoped that Unram students can bridge the theory they learn with real practice in the industry, and build a useful professional network,” added Aida, who is also the Founder of the Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) Indonesia-NTB.
With the support of qualified lecturers such as Nur Aida Arifah Tara, Ph.D., as well as cooperation with leading institutions such as Bank BTN Mataram, the MSIB program at Unram is expected to continue to make a positive contribution to the development of competent and ready-to-work human resources in the job market.
