Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) again held the Unram Award 2024, an annual event that aims to give the highest appreciation to individuals, institutions, groups of academicians who have succeeded in bringing the name of Unram. The event, which was held at the M. Yusuf Abu Bakar Auditorium Building on Friday (29/11), was lively and full of warmth.

The event was attended by the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., along with the Head of Senate and staff, Vice Rector, Head of Bureau, Head of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP), Head of Alumni Family Association (IKA) Unram, Heads of Institutions, Deans, Directors, Heads of Administrative Implementation Units (UPA), Professors, and Heads of Student Organizations (Ormawa) in Unram.

In his speech, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., expressed his highest appreciation to all awardees.

“The Unram Awards is not only form of high appreciation, but also a positive competitive event, which means that we entrust there is a positive competition where faculties, study programs, individuals, groups will continue to strive, will continue to improve their achievements and Unram will advance and prosper in the near future. I congratulate all those who have come. Thank you for your appreciation in attending our invitation. Thank you also for contributing to this event. Hopefully everyone will embrace aggressive changes in the future,” he said.

At this awards night, a total of 94 awards were given to outstanding individuals and units, divided into four main categories, including::

1. Academic Affairs,

2. Finance and General Affairs,

3. Student Affairs, and

4. Planning and Cooperation

The event was lively with performances of archipelago dances by DWP Unram, Line Dance by DWP Faculty of Animal Science, and various other entertainment performances that also added to the excitement of the event. The award were handed over directly by the Rector and university leaders, giving a special moment to the awardees.

In addition, Prof. Bambang in the Unram Award 2024 Night event also provided direct appreciation to the winners of the competition in the series of Unram’s 62nd Dies Natalis.

The Unram Award 2024 is clear evidence of Unram’s commitment to support and appreciate the achievements of the entire academic community. With the spirit of togetherness, Unram continues to move forward to realize its vision as a superior and globally competitive university.
