Mataram, University of Mataram – The Rector of the University of Mataram (Unram) officially inaugurated dr. Akhada Maulana, Sp.U., MARS., as Director of the University of Mataram Hospital (Unram Hospital) for the 2024-2025 Period, and dr. Lale Maulin Prihatina, Sp.PA., as Deputy Director for Services of Unram Hospital for the 2024-2025 Period. The inauguration and oath-taking ceremony took place on Monday (23/12) in the Senate Conference Room, Unram Rectorate.

Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., in his speech emphasized the importance of carry out the mandate of the position with full responsibilities.

“Changing positions is a common thing. Every position and mandate received should be carried out as well as possible,” he said. Prof. Bambang also expressed his appreciation to the previous Director and Deputy Director for their contribution and dedication during their leadership period.

Prof. Bambang underlined the big challenges that will be faced by the new Director and Deputy Director, including efforts to provide maximum service to the community.

“The construction of Unram Hospital is almost complete. There are some things we need to add such as waste management, as well as ensuring all formal legal matters are fulfilled, including the equipment used,” he explained.

The Rector of Unram also highlighted the importance of good management to ensure quality hospital services. Prof. Bambang hopes that services using BPJS can be maximized, financial management and employee welfare to continue to be considered.

“The process of relocating the completed Unram Hospital building needs to be done carefully. We must catch the opportunities no matter how small so that the changes of Unram Hospital will continue to be seen,” he added.

Prof. Bambang further motivated the new Director and Deputy Director to make breakthroughs that benefit Unram Hospital, Unram, and especially the wider community.

“Conducting management is an art, because what we manage is human resources. Make a conducive work climate so that everyone feels that they own this hospital and work happily,” Prof. Bambang said.

With this inauguration, dr. Akhada Maulana and dr. Lale Maulin Prihatina are ready to take on the mandate and are expected to be able to bring Unram Hospital towards better health services and make a significant contribution to the community.
