Collaboration in the Field of Technology: Unram and PT Parallaxnet Siber Indonesia Officially Sign MoU
Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) and PT Parallaxnet Siber Indonesia officially started a collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was coupled with a Public Lecture at the Unram Rector’s Conference Room on Wednesday (7/8).
The activity was attended by the Rector, Vice Rector, Head of Bureau, Deans and Vice Deans of Faculties, Postgraduate Director, Head of LPMPP, Head of LPPM, Head of BPU and 100 Unram students.
Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. as the Rector of Unram in his speech explained that with this MoU it is hoped that there will be commitment and innovative collaboration that focuses on technology integration. “This is an exciting opportunity because we see the discovery of partnerships that are striving to improve the educational environment and this MoU is a commitment to innovative collaboration that focuses on improving the quality of education and focuses on integrating technology with business knowledge to create experiences for students in terms of personalization,” he said.
“We will also collaborate, because our vision is to become a competitive university. through this collaboration opportunity we are lucky and of course we will help the students to gain knowledge about what ParallaxNet Siber Indonesia has been doing,” he continued.
Furthermore, the CEO of PT ParallaxNet United States of America, Mr. Mazhar Durrani on the same occasion revealed that what is needed in the world is time because the world is moving rapidly, especially in terms of technology.
“What is necessary in today’s world is time. Remember we don’t have time anymore, the world is moving rapidly and in the last 20 years we have been asked to accelerate especially in terms of technology in order to get acceleration to get in touch with technology because there are too many people receiving application development today. So my current goal is to bring 10 percent of the business from India to Indonesia how can we do so that we have a work plan in the future,” he said.
This collaboration also aims to provide better training to students, provide internship opportunities to Unram students and other programs in order to help students continue to work and develop careers in today’s competitive digital era.
The signing of the MoU was followed by a public lecture at the Senate Conference Room of the Unram Rectorate with the theme How to Build A Star-Up Business. The whole series of events is expected to provide provisions for students in building a successful startup business in today’s digital era.
