Deepens Understanding in Improving Academic Quality, Unram Warmly Welcomes Benchmarking Visit from Unsika
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Senate of Singaperbangsa University Karawang (Unsika) conducted a benchmarking visit to the University of Mataram (Unram) at the Unram Rector’s Conference Room with the aim of deepening and improving the academic quality of Unsika, the visit took place on Thursday (27/6).
During the visit, the group from Unsika was welcomed by the Chairman of Commission II (Research and Community Service), Prof. Ir. Yusuf Akhyar Sutaryono, Ph.D. along with the senate of Unram.
In his speech, Prof. Yusuf Akhyar explained the structure of the Unram Senate and the profile of Unram. “There are six senate commissions that we have, namely the academic commission, the second is the research commission, the third is the quality assurance commission, the fourth is the ethics commission, the fifth is the cooperation commission and the last is the planning commission,” he explained.
Furthermore, the Secretary and Member of Commission B, Dr. H. Abdul Kosim, Lc., M.M.Pd. in his speech explained the purpose of his visit which was to stay in touch and introduce Unsika’s profile.
“The purpose of our visit is to stay in touch in order to introduce a few things about Unsika and Karawang Regency. Unsika was a private university in 2014, finally we tried to walk to find a format, it takes time and hard work in order to direct this university to excel, “he said.
Furthermore, Dr. H. Abdul Kosim conveyed that he wanted to explore knowledge and experience to Unram. “We wish to advance Unsika, one of which is to try, gain knowledge, gain experience from the University of Mataram,” he continued.
All members present had intensive discussions related to the senate in improving the quality of education and research at both universities.
This visit is expected to not only strengthen relations between universities but also provide tangible benefits for both parties in developing and improving the quality of higher education in the country.
