DWP Unram Ikan Nae di Pante Line Dance Competition Enlivens Unram’s 62nd Dies Natalis

Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) successfully held a Line Dance Competition entitled “Ikan Nae di Pante” on Saturday (2/11) at the Unram Dome Building. The competition organized by Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Unram was lively, followed by 13 groups from various faculties and units at Unram who performed their best dance creations. Interesting costumes worn by the participants supported each performance, making the atmosphere more lively.

Mrs. Baiq Erna Sofyanti Ningsih Sukardi, representing the Head of Unram DWP Mrs. Agustin Rahmawati Bambang Hari Kusumo expressed her appreciation to all parties involved in organizing this competition. Mrs. Sukardi also revealed that this competition is not only a place for artistic expression but also aims to strengthen friendship, interaction, and sharpen creativity and talent in the field of art.

“On behalf of DWP Unram, we would like to thank all the committee members, judges, participants, and supporters who contributed to this activity,” said Mrs. Sukardi.

Mrs. Sukardi also reminded the jury to remain neutral in assessing the participants’ performances and invited participants to uphold sportsmanship and friendship during the competition.

Ir. Agustono Setiawan, S.T., M.Sc., as the Head of the 62nd Unram Dies Natalis Committee conveyed that the Line Dance Competition is one of a series of Unram’s 62nd Dies Natalis events which aims to provide entertainment for the entire academic community. With the presence of various faculties and units in this competition, Unram’s Dies Natalis is more lively and can be enjoyed by all elements of the community.

In this Line Dance Competition, the First Place was won by Faculty of Animal Science; the Second Place was won by Melody Line Dance, Faculty of Economics and Business; the Third Place was won by Crazy Boys from Faculty of Agriculture; the First Honorable Mention was won by Oryza Sativa from Faculty of Agriculture; the Second Honorable Mention was won by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences; and the Third Honorable Mention was won by Rectorate Unit.

Ikan Nae di Pante Line Dance Competition symbolizes the spirit, togetherness, and creativity that strengthen the entire Unram academic community at a special moment of Unram’s 62nd Dies Natalis celebration.
