DWP Unram Invited Kindergarten / PAUD and Elementary School in Mataram City to Join Coloring Competition in Order to Commemorating National Children’s Day
Mataram, University of Mataram – DWP Unram held annually event in order to commemorates National Children’s Day by conducting a coloring competition that were enlivened by hundreds of children on Saturday (22/7) at the M. Yusuf Abubakar Unram Auditorium Building.
Hundreds of children are representatives from kindergartens / PAUD and elementary schools throughout the city of Mataram. In commemoration of this year’s National Children’s Day, DWP Unram carried the big theme “Protected Children, Advanced Indonesia”.
The DWP Unram Chairman Mrs. Agustin Rahmawati Bambang Hari Kusumo said that the children are a gift that must be grateful for their existence.
“Children are a gift from God that entrusted to us as parents, children are the next generation of the nation that must be maintained and cared for, for a better nation in the future,” she said when giving hir speech.
For her, the commemoration of National Children’s Day is a momentum to remember the role and duty of parents and the community to teach all goodness to children, so that, they can become human resources that bring the benefit for their family and the nation.
“Hopefully, through this event, we do that they will gain valuable experience and can trigger optimal growth and development and become smart, talented, cheerful, and noble characters,” hoped the DWP Unram chairman.
Mrs. Agustin explained that this coloring competition activity is a series of Recreation Day event that held every Saturday. This activity invitedn the academic community and the general public to enliven the Recreation Day event.
“This is also a promotional event to introduce Unram Recreation Day as well as introducing Unram to the community as an educational institution and Unram was also present for the community, to introducing education and technology and to show that Unram is present for the community, so that Unram can be closer to the all community,” she concluded.
