Encourage Optimization of Sovereign, Advanced and Sustainable Maritime Potential, Himapika Unram Holds Aqualine Festival
Mataram, University of Mataram – To enliven the 17th Anniversary, The Association of Fisheries Students of the University of Mataram (Himapika Unram) held the Aqualine Festival (Alfa) with a series of Himapika National Scientific Writing Competition (LKTIN) activities on Saturday (11/18) with the theme “Optimizing the Role of Generation Z to Establish a Sovereign, Advanced and Sustainable Maritime Nation to Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”.
The Alfa is Himapika’s largest event which is routinely held annually. Alfa has several activities including Himapika LKTIN which is a writing competition event attended by all students throughout Indonesia, as well as National Seminar activities that discuss fisheries issues and potential as one of the focuses of Himapika’s management this year.
The activity was carried out with the initial stages of the online registration process, both registration and full paper collection, followed by an offline finalist presentation process on Saturday (11/17) coinciding in the 3rd floor hall of the UNRAM Faculty of Fisheries building.
The day after the Himapika LKTIN presentation activity (18/11), Himapika held a National Seminar with the theme “Optimizing Maritime Potential to Welcome Golden Indonesia 2045”.
Lalu Wira Hariadi as the Chief of Himapika 2023 emphasized that the activity is routinely held by students in order to improve their soft skills and critical spirit towards existing resources, especially in the maritime sector, both in terms of hot issues and potential that must be developed.
Meanwhile, Dr. Zaenal Abidin, S.Pi., M.Si., as Head of the Aquaculture Study Program as well as Himapika 2023 Supervisor also emphasized that activities are highly recommended for students to add experience and insight in the field of writing and about maritime affairs.
Himapika 2023 presented the Governor of NTB for the 2018-2023 period, Dr. H. Zulkiflimansyah, SE, M.Sc., as the keynote speaker, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Dr. Ir. Bambang Dipo Kusumo, M.Si., who gave the opening speech, as well as three speakers, including Muslim, S.T., M.Si as Head of the NTB Fisheries and Maritime Affairs Office, H. Johan Rosihan, S.T as Member of the House of Representatives and Taufiq Hisbul Haq as Director of Jari Foundation.
