Evaluation of Student Programs, Unram Focuses on Increasing the Impact of PKM, P2MW, and PPK Ormawa
Mataram, University of Mataram – University of Mataram (Unram) held an evaluation meeting of the Student Creativity Program (PKM), Entrepreneurial Student Development Program (P2MW), and Student Organization Activity Development Program (PPK Ormawa) on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
The meeting, which was held at the Dome Building, Unram, was opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., and attended by all Vice Deans for Student Affairs, alumni representatives, and supervisors from various faculties within Unram.
This evaluation meeting aims to assess the extent to which the three programs have a positive impact on the development of students in the fields of creativity, entrepreneurship, and student organizations, as well as designing improvement steps for the coming year.
In his speech, Dr. Sujita, S.T., M.T., as Vice Rector III revealed the importance of evaluation to map the strengths and weaknesses of each program.
“This evaluation is not only to observe the achievements that have been made, but also to identify areas that need improvement. I hope, by involving all related parties, we can make a maximum contribution in developing the potential of the University of Mataram students,” said Dr. Sujita.
The evaluation this time was led by Drs. Jeckson Siahaan, M.Pd. and Rini Nofrida.
After the presentation of the material, an open discussion session began and the meeting participants provided input and suggestions regarding the implementation of each program. Some participants highlighted the need to increase access and support for student activities, both in the form of funding and training.
Dr. Sujita closed the discussion session by expressing her commitment to improve and strengthen these programs to have a more positive impact on students. “We will immediately follow up on existing recommendations, as well as increase collaboration with alumni and external parties to support the success of these programs,” he concluded.
This evaluation meeting is expected to produce strategic steps to improve the quality and impact of PKM, P2MW, and PPK Ormawa at Unram in the coming year.
