Fatepa Unram Holds Training and Certification of Biodigister System Operation
Mataram, University of Mataram – Training and Certification of Biodigister System Operation on Biogas Power Plants (PLTBG) for lecturers of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Food Technology and Agroindustry (Fatepa) was held on Monday (5/27) at the Fatepa Conference Room. This activity is a form of cooperation from the University of Mataram (Unram) with the Renewable Energy Professional Certificate Institute (LSP) and PT Perdana Vokasi Nusantara.
The activity takes place from 27-30 May 2024 and was warmly welcomed by the Dean of Fatepa, Dr. Ir. Satrijo Saloko, M.P. “On behalf of the leadership, we are very happy to welcome this activity, hopefully it can be followed for a week until Friday and of course it can have a big impact on renewable energy changes in NTB,” he said.
Furthermore, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sitti Hilyana, M.Si. emphasized that the training and certification of Biodigister System Operation is an important and interesting activity.
“This activity is a certification and competency test that is appropriate at this time because of the needs of the university and the region itself. Currently, the province of NTB is in need of certified personnel in the field of renewable energy, seeing the potential of waste piles which will later become renewable energy materials where alumni of this certification and competency activity are expected to answer the problems that exist in NTB Province, “explained Prof. Hilyana.
