FKIP Unram Celebrates its 43rd Dies Natalis

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) celebrated its 43rd dies natalis on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the FKIP campus yard.

With the theme “Synergy of the Academic Community of FKIP University of Mataram Towards Sustainable Excellence”, this celebration was enlivened with various series of events. The event began with a healthy walk followed by lecturers, staff, and students of FKIP. The celebration was followed by a student product bazaar and art performances featuring the talents of students as well as lecturers and staff of FKIP.

This event was also coupled with the prize handover for the winners of the dies competition that had been held previously. And also the awarding of outstanding FKIP academicians.

The Dean of FKIP, Drs. H. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D., in his speech expressed gratitude for the 43-year journey of FKIP.

“This Dies Natalis is a momentum to reflect on the achievements of FKIP in educating the nation’s generation as well as strengthening our commitment in producing graduates who are superior, innovative, and contribute to national development,” he said.

He also emphasized the importance of synergy between all academicians to achieve a sustainable vision of the Faculty.

“Togetherness is the key to success. We hope that all parties can continue to synergize, both in the fields of education, research, and community service,” he added.

In addition, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D., expressed his high appreciation for the achievements of FKIP so far.

“Of course we have heard extraordinary news. Of the 12 study programs in FKIP, 9 have achieved excellence, this is the largest. Of the 110 professors at the University of Mataram, 25 come from FKIP. This is extraordinary and a source of pride for all of us,” said the Rector.

The Rector also reminded about Unram’s four main goals which are currently being prioritized together.

“Our four main goals are to achieve superior accreditation for all study programs, towards the status of a State University with Legal Status (PTN-BH), maintain the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU), and bring the University of Mataram to become a World Class University,” he explained.

He emphasized that the synergy and hard work of all campus elements, including FKIP, is the key to realizing this big vision.

The celebration of the 43rd Dies Natalis of FKIP Unram was closed with an atmosphere full of warmth and togetherness. The spirit of synergy that is felt in every moment of this celebration is proof that FKIP Unram continues to step together to achieve a more glorious future, bringing new hope to the world of education and society.
