FKIP Unram Solidifies Strategy Towards International Accreditation

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Mataram (FKIP Unram) held a coordination meeting in order to prepare for international accreditation at the Dean’s Meeting Room on Wednesday, February 12, 2024. The meeting aims to ensure that all study programs and facilities in FKIP are ready to meet the standards set in order to achieve international accreditation.
The Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. in his speech emphasized that the transformation of Unram, especially in the transition of status from PTN-BLU to PTN-BH is an important step towards a World-Class University. International accreditation is not only about achieving superior, but also improving the quality of learning for the academic community and society.
“Each accreditation has different requirements, as well as international accreditation. Therefore, we must ensure that all study programs at FKIP Unram have qualified quality and are ready to compete at the international level,” said the Rector of Unram.
Prof. Bambang further emphasized that all study programs in FKIP have been accredited superior, so it is the right time to step towards international accreditation.
“ FKIP has achieved superior status in all existing study programs, and this is the right moment for us to expand our reach and be internationally accredited,” concluded the Rector of Unram.
In the coordination meeting attended by the Dean, Vice Dean, Head of Department, Head of Study Program, and Head of Laboratory in FKIP Unram. The Dean of FKIP Unram, Drs. Lalu Zulkifli, M.Si., Ph.D. also conveyed the faculty’s commitment to continuously improve the quality of education and services to students and the community.
With the spirit of transformation and continuous quality improvement, FKIP Unram optimists to achieve international accreditation with the full support of the entire academic community.
