Informatics Engineering Study Program of Unram Receives Field Assessment of Information Technology by LAM INFOKOM Assessors
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram (FT Unram) received a visit from the assessor team of the Information and Communication Self-Accreditation Institute (LAM INFOKOM). This assessment took place for three days from March 12-14, 2024 at the Prof. Morisco Meeting Room, Faculty of Engineering.
The arrival of the assessor team was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Unram, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; Vice Rector for Finance and General Affairs; Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information Systems; and the Dean of FT Unram. LAM INFOKOM assessor team members who attended the assessment were Prof. Dr. Trikuntoro Priyambodo, M.Sc. and Prof. Dr. Ir. Diana Purwitasari, S.Kom., M.Sc.
In his remarks, the Rector of Unram, Prof. Ir. Bambang Hari Kusumo, M.Agr.St., Ph.D. expressed his hope to bring the University of Mataram to have a comprehensive Superior accreditation for all Study Programs.
“Our target is in a short amount of time, we are 50 percent first or half, 36 study programs this year we are reaccredited with proper preparation, and hopefully the assessors will think the same,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Trikuntoro Priyambodo, M.Sc. as the LAM INFOKOM assessor conveyed several important things and became part of what was considered as an assessor in defending student rights, specifically information disclosure for students. “One of them is whether the curriculum has all been published and easily accessed by students. Second, whether all RPKPS have been published and open. Third, whether the module and module subject are accessible to students. Fourth, the assessment must be open, whatever the assessment is done, there must be an accountability from the lecturer to the students,” he concluded.
