Innovative Collaboration: LPPM Telkom University Visits LPPM Unram to Synergize in Science and Technology-Based National and International Seminars

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Research and Community Service Institute of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) announced plans to collaborate with Telkom University in organizing a national and international seminar that will focus on the latest developments in science and technology on Friday, October 11, 2024. The seminar aims to bring together researchers, academics, and practitioners from various disciplines to share the latest knowledge and innovations.

In this activity, the Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. accompanied by the Secretary of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gusti Putu Muliarta Aryana, MP.; Dr. Ir. Misbahuddin, ST., MT., IPU as Head of the Center for Cooperation and KKN; Prof. Drs. Aris Doyan, M.Asi., Ph.D. as Head of Publication, Conference and IPR Center; Dr. Ni Wayan Sri Suliartini, SP., MP. as Head of Service Center; and I Wayan Sudiarta, Ph.D. as Head of Data, Information and Quality Center; and Roni Paslan, S.Adm as Head of General Subdivision.

As for Telkom University, the Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Kemas Muslim S. accompanied by Dr. Eng. Al Maududi P, S.T., M.Eng. as Head of Publication and Community Service Department.

The Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Sukartono, stated, “This Collaboration Plan is a strategic step to improve the quality of research and community service. Through this seminar, we want to encourage the exchange of ideas and create synergy between the two universities.”

“We are very enthusiastic about the collaboration plan with LPPM Telkom University in organizing seminars and scientific publications. This collaboration will be an opportunity to improve our Key Performance Index (KPI) while expanding the impact of research that benefits society. Through this synergy, we hope to produce innovations that answer real challenges in the surrounding environment,” said Prof. Sukartono.

Telkom University, known for its focus on information and communication technology, also expressed interest in sharing knowledge and experience in community service. Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Kemas Muslim S., added, “This cooperation is a strategic step to increase the contribution of both universities in creating relevant solutions to current social and technological challenges.”

Besides research and community service, the two institutions also plan to organize joint scientific conferences that will invite researchers, academics, and practitioners to share knowledge and discuss current issues in various disciplines.

Dr. Eng. Al Maududi P, S.T., M.Eng. as the Head of Publication and Community Service Section expressed his hope, “We are very enthusiastic about the collaboration plan with LPPM of the University of Mataram in organizing scientific seminars and publications. This collaboration will not only strengthen academic networks in the field of science and technology, but also has the potential to improve the Main Performance Indicators (“IKU”) of both institutions. Through the exchange of knowledge and experience, we hope to create innovative solutions that benefit society, as well as encourage research that is relevant to the challenges faced by society today.”

With this collaboration, it is expected that various innovative research initiatives will emerge and benefit the community, as well as encourage the advancement of science and technology in Indonesia.
