LPPM Unram Committed to Building Networks of Collaboration and Scientific Dissemination through the Organization of National and International Seminars in 2024
Mataram, University of Mataram – The Research and Community Service Institute of Universitas Mataram (LPPM Unram) will hold national and international seminars, which were discussed in a meeting to form a seminar and workshop committee on Thursday (18/4) in the Main Session room of LPPM University of Mataram.
On this occasion, the Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Ir Sukartono, M.Agr., accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ir IGP Muliarta Aryana, MP. as Secretary of LPPM; Head of KKN and Cooperation Center, Dr. Ir Misbahuddin, ST, MT, IPU; Head of Service Center, Dr. Ni Wayan Sri Suliartini, SP.., MP.; Head of Research Center, Prof. Ir. Buan Anshari, ST., M.Sc.(Eng)., Ph.D.; Head of Conference and IPR Center, Prof. Drs. Aris Doyan, M.Si., Ph.D.; Head of General Subdivision, Roni Paslan, S.Adm. and all staff of LPPM Unram.
As a form of social responsibility to the community, Unram through LPPM continues to conduct research and community service to continue to capture phenomena or problems as a potential source of scientific development. The problems that occur in society are captured in a way of thinking and then become scientific works that have scientific strength. However, scientific works originating from the ideas of the academics of Unram need to be disseminated in a scientific forum so that the results and findings can provide wider benefits later. Therefore, LPPM designs and facilitates Unram academicians in publishing their results and findings through a seminar activity, both on a national and international scale.
Starting this event, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. as the Head of LPPM in his speech said, “LPPM in 2024 will hold 4 National Seminars namely Pepadu, Science and Technology, Soshum and Shorghum Special Topics, 2 International Seminars including ICSS and ICST. In addition to seminars, LPPM also facilitates academicians at the University of Mataram to manage and certify IPR through IPR Workshops and strengthen journal management at the University of Mataram.”
“This activity is a form of LPPM Unram’s commitment in supporting the capacity building of lecturers / researchers as well as a tool for disseminating the results and findings of Unram academics. In addition, this activity is also expected to increase Unram’s IKU,” said the Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Conference and IPR Center, Prof. Drs. Aris Doyan, M.Si., Ph.D. emphasized, “The development of science and broadening of horizons requires a forum for aspirations and a broad academic discussion space. Various scientific seminars and conferences organized by LPPM Unram are bridges to connect various ideas and knowledge across fields of science,” explained Prof. Aris.
These seminars and workshops are the commitment of LPPM Unram in providing a platform that inspires, motivates, and strengthens collaboration networks among academic communities and stakeholders.
