LPPM Unram Presents Innovation in Science and Technology in National Seminar

Mataram, University of Mataram – Thursday, 16 November 2023 Research and Community Service Center of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) held a National Seminar on Science and Technology (Saintek) in 2023 entitled “Science and Technology Research Innovations Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”. This activity took place in a Hybrid (Online and Offline) for one day on Thursday (11/16) at the Golden Palace Hotel Mataram.

This activity was attended directly by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Systems of Unram, Prof. Akmaluddin, ST., M.Sc. (Eng), Ph.D.; Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. accompanied by the Conference and IPR Coordinator, Prof. Drs. Aris Doyan, M.Si., Ph.D.; Head of the National Seminar on Science and Technology Committee, Dr. Muhammad Zuhdi, ST., MT.; LPPM Coordinators; and Vice Deans in Unram.

In the explanation of the Head of the Committee, Dr. Muhammad Zuhdi, ST., MT. reported that, “the National Seminar on Science and Technology in 2023 was held in a Hybrid manner, online via the Zoom Meeting Application with 152 participants and offline at the Golden Palace Hotel Mataram with 89 participants. So overall the total number of participants in the 2023 National Seminar on Science and Technology was 241 people both from lecturers at the University of Mataram and from other Universities “.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Systems of Unram, Prof. Akmaluddin, ST., M.Sc. (Eng), Ph.D. in his warm welcome greeted all participants and welcomed the keynote speaker who came from outside NTB to Mataram.

“The existence of the Science and Technology seminar organized by LPPM Unram as an annual agenda has a major contribution in producing Unram’s Main Performance Indicator (IKU) 5, as one of the indicators that determine the position of the University of Mataram. We hope that Unram can continue to fill or complete the IKU needs that are standardized and suggested by the Ministry, “said Prof. Akmaluddin.

Furthermore, the Professor of the Faculty of Engineering explained, “this National Seminar on Science and Technology is a good opportunity for us to build research collaborations both nationally and internationally. Hopefully this National Seminar on Science and Technology can be one of the tools to produce innovations that can solve problems in society in order to welcome the golden Indonesia 2045”.

The keynote speakers in this activity include Prof. Dr. Abdul Hakim, M.Si (FMIPA State University of Medan); Prof. Dr. Muchammad Farid, M.S. (FMIPA University of Bengkulu); Prof. Dra. Susilawati, M.Si., Ph.D. (FKIP Unram); Prof. Ir. Dahlanuddin, M.Rur.Sc., Ph.D. (Faculty of Animal Husbandry Unram); Prof. Ir. Suwardji, M.App.Sc,, Ph.D. (Faculty of Agriculture Unram); Prof. Sugiman, ST, MT, Ph.D. (Faculty of Engineering Unram); and Dr. Misbahuddin, ST, MT, IPU. (Faculty of Engineering Unram).

At the end of the session, the National Seminar on Science and Technology 2023 was closed by the Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr.
