LPPM Weekly Briefing, Following the New OTK Changes in the Unram Environment

Mataram, University of Mataram – The Institute for Research and Community Service of the University of Mataram (LPPM Unram) conducts routine weekly briefings following up on changes to the new OTK which took place in the LPPM Unram Main Conference Room on Monday (26/2).

In this activity, the Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ir. IGP Muliarta Aryana, MP. as Secretary; Dr. Ir. Misbahuddin, ST., MT., IPU. as Head of KKN and Cooperation Management Centre; Dr. Ni Wayan Sri Suliartini, SP.., MP. as Head of Service Centre; I Wayan Sudiarta, Ph.D. as Head of Data, Information and Quality Management Centre; and Head of General Subdivision, Roni Paslan, S.Adm. and all LPPM Unram Staff.

Starting this activity, the Head of General Subdivision, Roni Paslan, S.Adm. reported that, “This weekly briefing is one of the implementation of functions in management. As we all know, in carrying out operational activities and without direction from the leadership, everything may not run as expected.”

Institutional management is a dynamic and proactive approach in carrying out an activity. Where in the management includes coordination activities, facilities and infrastructure in achieving institutional goals.

On the same occasion, the Head of LPPM Unram, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sukartono, M.Agr. in his speech asserted, “LPPM has a strategic role in developing human resources that have advantages. To achieve this goal, LPPM needs to build and develop good management. The management process must always be improved and directed towards balance, especially the balance of research and community service.”

LPPM has a very crucial function, so the management of the institution needs to be improved because it is related to the development of science and as a learning centre that leads to theoretical and applied research. As a centre for professional development that combines academic knowledge with skills that are in line with the development needs of society. Collaborate with various parties in alleviating problems by increasing cooperation at the national and international levels.

This weekly briefing activity is a commitment of LPPM in identifying various goals for Unram’s future performance and deciding on the tasks and use of resources needed to achieve them. In other words, managerial planning determines the future position and how to achieve it.
